I began applying thick paint to the canvas with a palette knife. I was only using white and black paint at this time. I was painting over a canvas that had green and white clouds and that began to come out when I started washing out the paint. Once I started spraying the canvas with turpinoid (brush cleaning solution) and managed to control some of the areas thanks to a very small spray bottle.
I applied the color by thinning out selected colors, red, light purple, yellow, gold and white, and mixed them separately inside the spray bottle. I laid the canvas on the floor and spayed the color on in a mist fashion and then letting it sit there. The thinner itself dries reasonably quickly and the color remains.
Once the oil paint dried, I applied a phosphorescent paint to areas of the body that would be highlighted by moonlight. I put this painting in my bedroom and often see it glowing on the wall. It is actually disturbing.
