This painting has been Inspired by a vision in my head. It is very rare that I start a painting knowing how it will look when it was done. Usually, that is the most difficult task, to create the piece as it goes.
In this case Field of Vision was far more challenging to create than other paintings I have done. The size and weight of this piece makes it cumbersome to move on an easel. Currently this piece weights 35 pounds and is taller than me at 5 foot 6 inches.
Please take a look at the sub navigation to the left of the painting where it says Image Views. You will see how I created the shapes, supports and other valid information on the development of this work.
I titled this Field of Vision reflecting my story about this work. I sometimes feel my field of vision gets smaller as the older I get. Musically, I'm still stuck in the eighty's and the current events of the day scare me on levels that I try to ignore just to keep my own self sane.
My field of vision has grown wider in other aspects of life which are invisible or intangible. They would be my creative talents, knowledge of my industry and experiences. These outlooks and personal resources keep me entertained and entertaining.
