I went to an art opening in Chicago and was inspired to do this work. This work sold before my semester was over. I don't think it was even dry yet. I remember stumbling into my studio to see a 'sold' sign under that painting. This was another very fun painting. I know the owner very well and she tells me how much people enjoy it.
The simplicity of the lines in combination with the bright colors was a lot of fun to experiment with. Take a look at the Large Image view and you can see the texture and details of this abstract oil painting titled "Ladies".
