I painted this piece for the front cover of my wedding invitation in 1994. It came from the concept I used in Tangled Up In Blue created a few years before. It is a simple design that has strong concept.

I use the heart as a symbol. Everyone can relate to the heart and replace its own meaning for it. What it means to me is significantly different than what it means to the next person.
