These works are significantly older. The start date to these is 1995. Many of these are experiential works using filters that were once available for free for Photoshop 6.

Below are three Quicktime movies that may take a few minutes to load.

Welcome to Set One of the Digital Gallery. The thumbnails you see above are chosen works from the galleries that you see listed on the left navigation. The works here were created many years ago. Some of these images have been used in website's that I've created over the past thirteen plus years. Some of the images were used in logo creation.

Many of the galleries are frame stills from animations that I've created. In the sub navigation you will see a link named Movie 1. This is an example of an animation I've created using a 3D program called Bryce. I have hours of animations and hundreds of thousands of frame stills. The program lets you choose whether you render an animation or frames. I chose frames because I know that animation formats change over time and some no longer play in browsers. By making frame stills I'm able to choose what program and output that I want to in order to stay with the contemporary formats. Also, by creating still frames, I can take a series of frames, say 700 images and create a series of filters in Photoshop called Actions and have the filters applied to everyone of the 70 images and create an entirely different set of images based from the original frames.

It has been fun to experiment over the years with the programs and  I've managed to take what I've learned into a professional environment and set myself apart from other designers. People are always looking for something new and I have those skills and creativity.

In the left navigation you will see where it says Set 1. That is a drop down box that will take you to another set of Galleries with more work. I hope that you enjoy the art and I welcome your comments. David Ehlen
