I created this drawing with a #2 pencil, a piece of notebook paper and a straight edge of some sorts.
I was in the US Army at the time and didn't do a lot of drawing during this stage of my life. I was more active with technical manuals, weapons and learning how to be a soldier. The Army benefited with my creative talents by solving the complex problems of the earlier stages of the M2 - M3 Bradley Fighting Vehicle. I was a valuable resource in that I recognized and saw patterns of failures in the turret and firing systems. The ISU or Integrated Site Unit used to be a big piece of junk and was half the cost of the Bradley.
You can see the structure and thought process in this drawing. All though nothing makes sense, everything works.
