In Space
The flaming shape and the eye were often symbolically used in many of my works there after. I would like to add that I was influenced by an art teacher i had in San Antonio, Texas, where I was born. I had an art class that changed my life. Mr. Art, I believe his name was, drew a similar drawing that inspired me to be an artist. I think that meeting him in this art class and watching his work and how he encouraged us was a large turning point in my artistic career. My parents had always been supportive in my artistic endeavors but to hear it from someone else, someone that I watched draw and incredible drawing in form of the students and then later give it to me was it. It was my welcoming to this fantastic voyage.
